Charlotte’s artwork captures a vibrant and detailed interpretation of our theme. Charlotte demonstrates impressive attention to detail and creativity, making her work deserving of this recognition. We especially love the imagination and effort that went into the background shapes and patterns which speak of the deep feelings of importance her younger sister holds in her life. Well done and congratulations, Charlotte! You are awarded our first place $100 cash prize 🏆

Second place goes to Jackson Reidy, age 10, for his wonderful portrayal of his dad - SO cool! Little bit Cubisim, big on masculinity - well done! 😎👏🏼 Jackson receives the $50 The Burrow gift voucher.

✨The Burrow invites budding local artists of school age to submit a portrait for our School Holiday Art Competition. 🎨🖌️🖼️

The portrait must be of a person who is special to you – someone who is known to you and who knows you and plays a significant role in your life.

There will be two age categories:
• 5 -12 year olds
• 13 - 18 year olds

Prizes: 1st place each category: $100 cash
2nd place each category: The Burrow Gift Voucher valued at $50

Instructions and conditions:
The artwork
• One artwork only per entrant.
• Must be on paper (NOT board).
• Must be unmounted and unframed.
• Must be no smaller than A4 and no bigger than A3
• Must be two-dimensional.

Preparing the artwork for entry:
• Clearly label the back of the artwork with name, age, and contact details (of parent or guardian) Make sure this doesn’t show through to the front.
• Bring in and hand over to the Supervisor in charge.
• Good luck!

Works will be judged by Christine of The Burrow, our panel of art lovers, and local art curator. Winners will be announced at the end of the October School Holidays.
