Are you a hospo superstar looking to get into the world of specialty coffee? This may be the chance you’re looking for. As we are looking for enthusiastic and energetic staff to join our crew and play a crucial role in sourcing, brewing and sharing the stories behind some of the best coffees available.

Chinatown Country Club is an independent fashion retail concept and label based in Sydney, Australia. Premised on the juxtaposition between the exclusivity and far reaching manners of country clubs and the welcoming familiarity of Chinatown, it is a reflection of our Asian heritage in contrast to our Western upbringing.

Our first retail store will be opening in December, with a cafe lounge space attached. That is where you come in. With two positions on offer, one full time and one part time, working alongside our manager. Your day will involve serving customers, brewing coffees, helping homebrewers choose coffees and equipment, and sharing knowledge with customers regarding the coffees and teas that we serve.

You’ll learn how to brew coffees to a high standard, a tea program that highlights origins and processing like no other, get hands-on experience with all aspects of a cafe business. Parallel to service responsibilities, there will be ongoing cleaning, tidying, organising, and restocking tasks to be undertaken.

In this role you can expect:

You will a great fit if you have:

- A passion for hospitality and specialty coffee
- A strong work ethic and customer focused attitude
- 1 year experience working in a customer service role
- Specialty coffee experience would be a bonus, but not essential
