Had a great time at the 2024 Sydney SEO conference.

I recall watching Greg’s videos on YouTube about local SEO back when I first started my business. And it was such a treat to actually see Greg present live in Sydney.

One thing that I took away from the conference is that User Interface and user experience is becoming more important than ever. We’re getting into a digital age where all information is available and everyone has the same info on their website. The way we can differentiate from our competitors is through well thought out UI and UX.

This allows us to decrease bounce rates and increase engagement rate where necessary. Whilst ultimately increasing conversions.

It was also awesome to see the new Ahrefs features from Ahref’s CMO Tim Soulo, super excited to get digging into them and apply them for client campaign research.

Looking forward to the 2025 SEO conference.

The amazing Kyle Roof, an SEO mastermind. It was just a month ago since we’ve had the Sydney Conference. And it was a day jam packed with great speakers who dove deep into core topics around SEO.

There is a lot of talk going around about the prominence of EEAT and how it is going to start changing the way we approach SEO.

Another key concept is that many businesses often see SEO and content marketing as a means to only receive new leads/revenue. But often times the bigger picture is ignored, we should be doing SEO to ultimately provide value throughout the whole customer journey, beginning from leads to retention, to reactivating and revenue expansion.

It was a great time and we’ll be back next year for a bigger SEO conference.

Search Engine Optimisation may seem quite overwhelming, here at Bleument we like to keep it simple and stick to the basics. Our services for SEO is broken down into 3 core pillars.

Technical SEO:
This involves optimising your website to assist search engines like Google to crawl and index your website. If Google can’t crawl or index your website then your website will not appear on Google. So this pillar is focusing primarily on your website infrastructure and should almost always be something that you should optimise first before moving into the other 2 pillars.

On-page SEO:
This pillar of SEO refers to how your content is structured on your website. By optimising the structure of your content you provide better signals to search engine crawlers to understand what your website and webpages is about. A few items worth optimising include your title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking structure and mobile responsiveness.

Off-page SEO:
This pillar is all about building your websites domain authority. The reason it is called off-page SEO is because it refers to activities that you perform outside the boundaries of your website. This includes link building, social media marketing, and guest posting. This is a very powerful pillar because in the eyes of Google, if you have a higher domain authority Google is more likely to rank your website higher which will drive more traffic to your website.
