A few weekends ago our fabulous Wollongong team attended a trivia fundraising event for their local community group Wollongong Homeless Hub.
We had a great time raising money for a much needed community group!

It is National Reconciliation Week from today Monday May 27 to Monday 3 June.

InMotion Therapy & Supports Life InMotion

Last week, we had a blast at our Fun Friends Club, which is designed for our group designed specifically for kids attending Home School.

All of the team were Lego Masters in our group and drew up and designed an ideal ride we would build at Disneyland.

This was a fun opportunity to work together, form friendships, use our creative thinking and encourage each other.

We can’t wait for this week’s fun!

Today we kicked off our Fun Friends Club, a small group of awesome kids who do home schooling. What a bunch of fun we had! We all can't wait for next week.

Existing clients are invited to attend additional sessions, ranging from 2 to 5 times per week, with their assigned therapist. New clients will undergo an assessment before beginning their sessions during the school holiday period. We welcome all enquiries.

Spotlight: Psychology and Autism

Autism is considered ‘neurodivergent,’ meaning individuals with autism have brains that function in a way that is different to the majority of the population. Autism is considered a developmental disorder and involves social difficulties as well as rigid behaviour and interests, sensory difficulties, and challenges with emotion regulation.

Working with a psychologist can be helpful for people with autism regarding the assessment and referral process. Additionally, it can support them to feel understood, and reduce any symptoms that are affecting functioning (such as social skills training, emotional regulation and flexible thinking).
