It's World Autism Acceptance Day!
"So, to flourish Autistically, we need to be able to be true to ourselves, live meaningfully and independently, engage in relationships that build us up and make us happy. We can’t feel safe and will not flourish in environments that fail to provide acceptance and inclusion." - Non-speaking autistic advocate and author Tim Chan
By accepting autistic individuals as they are, and celebrating their strengths, talents, and contributions to society, we open the door to compassion and understanding.
Don't worry, be hoppy!
