*clear throat* No wonder they call this season “Fall”, cause I’d fall for you. *clear throat*
Pun aside, Happy Friday lovely peeps!
Efren proposed to Jamie in Japan just a few days before my flight. His sister, who’s our former client found about the session. Fyi, I almost never fly to Japan around this season. Knowing that somehow I decided to fly this time, and for Efren to propose at the same time too, it seemed like everything was just meant to be for them.
I was so excited, we had a zoom call so we got to know each other. Both of them are kind, sweet, and playful. So yeah, hopefully these pictures can tell their stories as a couple, and to commemorate one of the big milestones in their life.

For all the mum figures, thank you ❤️
“It must be nice”
Every time we capture tea ceremony processions, that’s the thought that always comes to my mind whenever I see scenes like this. I never thought about how nice it is to have that big house, or cool car. But it must be nice to have families who care and love you, even that distant auntie you rarely talk to.
It’s getting cold outside. The grasses are drying. But it’s always warm with you.
As I was with my friends at the last weekend, I got reminded how beautiful it is. Not just the zoo, but also from the rooftop where you can enjoy the harbor view during the sunset. Imagine you’re there, only the two of you.

Glorious day at lookout☀️⛅️☀️⛅️☀️⛅️. Played around with the and got to capture this cute frame. Thank you so much Jess and Callum for having us!

Alicia + Andrew Part 2.
I just really love this couple and how they approached their wedding day. They just had this sense of appreciation in everything. I always believe that what makes or break a wedding is your attitude. You can have the best weather, the best dress and the best everything but still be miserable. On the other hand the weather could be raining, the flowers could be the wrong type and the wedding car could break down, and you still have the best day ever. Well in this case, thankfully, the weather was perfect, the cars were gorgeous and It just feels like everything just fell into place (except the fact I was getting sick that day).
All in all, this is a couple that know how to appreciate the finer things in life as well as the small ones. We as suppliers feel appreciated and if you want to know the secret of how to make sure you get the most out of your vendors, is to trust and appreciate them for what they do and they will give you everything they got.
I definitely saw this sentiments through out the whole day. Every suppliers gave their best. From the fabulous make up and hair, the lovely service from the limo drivers and the stunning decor during reception. Like… wow…
I remember seeing Alicia crying as she was practising her first dance with Andrew in the ballroom before the guests arrived. She said to me that she was just so happy. Well, I’d say good on you :)

Dusk, a little drizzling, we invited Nam and Sarah out of the reception crowd just to enjoy the time by themselves.
Time to think about where to go this weekend! Grab your partner’s hand and go somewhere ❤️

Still can’t let the goosebumps go after we attended Shubham and Shreya’s marriage celebration. So here are some of our favorite frames from the Same Day Edit film. And thank you Sunaina (.with.a.x) for making this happen! She is an incredible talent ❤️
In 2020, we sent you the message from the future, which is this year. We just got back from your wedding and oh boy it was so wonderful. So we want to spill out what we experienced on the day!
We have come to the end of 2022. It has been a supercalifragilisticexpialidociously busy time as we had to accommodate you who postponed in 2020 (and some in 2021). But nothing beats the happiness that we saw at those weddings, how you all made it thus far after one postponement to another postponement. Those times really proved your love and commitment to each other. Well, that’s what you need in the marriage life, isn’t it?
To end 2022, we just wanna say thank you for not cancelling the love. Thank you for hanging on with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We made it. Yeay!!
With love,
Your wedding vendors.
Thank you to the wedding vendors who have helped us with this small project:

We often ask our couples; if you can go back in time to a moment when you’re together, when would you go?
And the best groom's surprise performance 2022 goes to... Joel and the boys!
We were sweating full of excitement during this 7-minute performance, yes, every single second is worth applause!

Last Saturday was my first time getting back to weddings. The day before I dusted my camera and checked all the batteries, making sure I still remember how to shoot 😂
And it is good to be back. Back to witness these moments again with Dom&Fiona and the gang. To hear good stories like how the priest who married them is the same priest who married Dom’s parents.
Keep up the hope. Yes, it’s starting again.

On the morning of the wedding day, Mom read a letter to Keisha. I looked into it and it was actually a bible verse. Somehow this verse resonates with me a lot, especially in this season. Knowing that there will always be hope and blessings every morning. Hopefully, it also strengthens you, too.⠀

This was the first time I felt like crying while capturing their first dance. It was so warm that I wanted to go home asap to hug my wife.
In this stay-at-home season, might be a good idea to turn on your favorite song and dance with your partner!
On Friday last week, I received a call from one of our frustrated grooms that had to postpone his wedding twice and facing a lot ot challenges from monetary, logistic and of course emotional aspects. We were discussing something and at one point I told him “I bet if it was all up to you, you’d probably just sign the papers and skip the whole headache”
He went silent and gave a bit of a laugh and said “you read my mind”
And then I told him of how much I admire him and the other grooms that I had similar conversations about postponements (90% of the time it’s the groom that takes care of postponements).
If it’s up to them, these men would probably just skip the whole headache and be done with a very simple wedding registry but all of them are determined to keep pushing because they want their bride to be happy. As simple as that.
All of the couples in this post have been impacted by the covid restrictions.
I hope by looking at how each of the bride looks proudly at their groom, it will give future wedding couples the boost they need to push through the challenges they face to celebrate the biggest day of their lives.
What a day filled with emails and calls from concerned couples…
Those who have experienced our service would most likely agree that we are very simple people that really enjoy what we do. For us it’s not about the technicality of shooting but more about telling stories that are truly meaningful and increasing in value over time, even past our life time.
has really impacted our industry severely. It has been extremely challenging for both the couples and the vendors, especially after 2020 lockdown. But thankfully, somehow, we are still here today.
I just wanted to say, for those couples who have been impacted and yet, still trying to make sure that we are ok, I thank you.
Those couples who choose to be kind even when it’s the second or third time they have to postpone, I thank you.
For those people that may not be saying anything but keeping us in their thoughts and prayers, I thank you.
And to my fellow wedding vendors, I know it’s tough… but our couples now and in the future need us. You have something that your clients can’t get anywhere else, and that’s you and your talents. If you feel that you bring value to your couples’ wedding day, then let’s give it our best shot and get through this.
