Music Lab is taking a break. The Sly Fox in their infinite wisdom have decided to give us a bit of a holiday as they want to try out some other (more profitable) things on Tuesday nights. Meanwhile it gives me a chance to have a little bit of a think about what to do next. So that means I am open to ideas and looking for expressions of interest and thinking about whether or not to get a new venue or change the format and what other musical projects I could be working on. Any ideas? In any case I just wanna pay tribute to all the awesome performers that have come along to make the night so much fun for the last couple of years and just to give you all a great big thank you and tell you how much I sincerely love you all. Watch this space ...

Music Lab update: We are still on every week on Tuesday nights at Sly Fox until further notice. But it is finishing up earlier ... typically at around 10pm at the moment. So make sure you get down early to grab your spot from 7pm onwards.

It's a goer ... for the next two weeks! Music Lab will be on at Sly Fox 28th Feb and 6th March 2012. The venue has been re-decorated, and the stage has been widened, especially for us (I like to think) but once again the scrutineers will be watching us so please try to come along and support your favorite jam night over the next two weeks in order to make it your very own local musical institution, thereby helping to keep us all out of the mental institution. Thanks!!

Music Lab IS on tonight at Sly Fox but only between 7pm and 9:30pm so don't be late and get it while you can!

Last night was so awesome and cool. Thanks to all who attended. Everyone was really relaxed and happy and the music was really great all night.

Experimental Open Mic

It's opening night at The Sly Fox Hotel tonight. So come on down and join in the fun after 7pm to show your support and help make this venue our new home by taking up your place on stage or in the audience. Let the experiments commence forthwith ....

Music Lab (Open Mic) Welcome

Music Lab (open mic) is having grand opening at Sly Fox next Tues (13th Dec). There is a rehearsal at Town and Country organised for 7pm Mon(12th) for anyone that wants to prepare a set with the house band. More details http://halgar.com/ml/

halgar.com Music Lab is a place for local underground artists, looking for somewhere to get together and create some monsters. Hmmm! Maybe not monsters but let's just say 'conduct secret musical experiments'.

After nearly 2.5 years at the Town and Country, Music Lab is moving the experimental laboratory to my favourite venue: The Sly Fox Hotel in Enmore - Yaaaay!!!

The Town and Country Hotel has plenty of spots available for bands to book their own nights too! Check it out while it is still available.
