Millions of participants around the world will switch off their lights at 8:30pm local time on Saturday 23rd March to demonstrate their support of the environment. This action is symbolic and is not an action to save power. We know it will take so much more than an hour of turning our lights out to have a measurable impact on climate change, but the action helps to bring greater awareness to the issue and demonstrates your commitment to help protect the planet – both during and beyond Earth Hour. #EarthHour2024

Shanelka Perera in Yr 12 is off to the National Schools Constitutional Convention in Canberra from 21 to 23 March where she will debate the finer legal points of our Consitution with students from across Australia. Her outstanding performance at the NSW Schools Constitutional Convention in 2022 gained her a place in this event so we are proud of her achievement and wish her well. As a confident and articulate young woman, Shanelka will be a wonderful representative of Caroline Chisholm College.
