At BOQ, service is our difference, building real relationships with customers and the community.
We're giving BOQ internet banking a fresh new look! While we make these exciting updates, there will be a brief service interruption. Don't worry, all the great features, tools, and functions you love will still be there.
During the service interruption, BOQ internet and mobile banking will be unavailable between 11:00pm Saturday, 9 November to 9:00am AEST Sunday, 10 November.

🛑 Scam alert 🛑
We’re seeing an increase in reports of bank impersonation scams, with scammers calling customers and notifying them of an unauthorised transaction, and requesting the customer provide a one-time password to stop the transactions. If a one-time code is provided, it can be used to complete a fraudulent card transaction.
🚩 Red flags to look out for:
👉️ Scammers have been known to typically call anonymously from private numbers or landlines that may impersonate genuine BOQ phone numbers.
👉️ The scammer often emphasise urgency and allude to your account being compromised to pressure you to provide your personal information quickly.
👉️ Scammers may seem knowledgeable and recite personal details that you have recently entered in an online form. Consider calls received soon after clicking online links or entering your phone number into online forms.
👉️ Multiple calls from the same number claiming to be from different organisations or financial institutions.
If you believe that you’ve been a victim of a scam, call us immediately on 1300 55 72 72 (Mon – Fri 8am-8pm, Sat 9am-5pm AEDT)

In celebration of our 150th anniversary, we commissioned First Nations artist and proud Kamilaroi woman Merinda Walters to create a piece that reflected our 150 years of history, legacy, and ties to the state of Queensland.
A range of people from the business took part in yarning circles with Merinda, where they reflected on their personal experience at BOQ, which helped to form the final piece.
The resulting artwork, called Burrul gi-gi Magula (meaning growing together in Kamilaroi, an original language of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales areas), is a celebration of the past 150 years and a promise for the future.
Recently revealed in Brisbane at our NAIDOC week celebrations, the artwork will now take pride of place in our corporate offices and branches across Australia - keep an eye out.

🚨 Following the global IT outage that occurred last week, we’re encouraging all customers to take extra precautions towards scammers. Following outages, scammers often impersonate bank/company officials or create fake websites to steal your information.
Be wary of receiving cold calls or messages from individuals posing as BOQ, Microsoft, Crowdstrike or other official parties offering to help with ‘issues’ caused by the outage.
How to Protect Yourself:
• Verify Contact: Always verify the legitimacy of any communication. If in doubt, contact the company via a trusted method to confirm if the contact was from them.
• Be Cautious: Be wary of unsolicited assistance or requests for sensitive information.
• Secure Your Information: Do not share personal or banking details unless you are certain of the recipient's identity.
• Delete Suspicious Messages: If you receive suspicious links or messages, avoid clicking anything and contact the company to verify the communication.
• Stay Informed: Keep up to date with official communications from BOQ Group through our verified channels.
If in doubt, contact BOQ. To report a fraud or scam, attend your local branch or call us immediately on 1300 55 72 72.
Report a cybercrime or cyber security incident to the ACSC via ReportCyber at www.cyber.gov.au/report, or call the Australian Cyber Security Hotline on 1300 CYBER! (1300 292 371).
