It's new Mini of the Month day tomorrow, Saturday, December 9.

Come in with your friends and family to build this month's epic-scale Rhino from Legions Imperialis - available while we have them!

While you're visiting, ask us to show you a demo of the new game if you'd like to have a go - you can even use it to complete a Battle Honours activity, so don't forget to bring your book!

For those not in the know, each month you are welcome to come in and build the monthly free miniature! Our friendly staff are on hand to give you guidance if you haven't built a mini before, so don't worry if you haven't tried before.

Take the Red Gobbo's challenge! Build and Paint a festive mini (or any Warhammer mini in a festive theme), Play with them in a game, and then answer the Gobbo's tricky quiz question by reading a book extract!

Completing the challenge nets you a pair of Red Gobbo dice, and you can get started by visiting us in store and picking up a free gift guide.

Drop on in to Warhammer Sydney and test your own might by taking on the godly war machine any day, as we run you through the brand new Legions Imperialis game - it's Warhammer on a scale you need to see to believe.

What's this? December's Miniature of the Month, you say? And it's out Saturday, December 9, you say?
Behold the might of the tiny Legionary Rhino from the upcoming Legions Imperialis - this will be your first chance in A LONG WHILE (or just your first time) to build a mighty tank in the new epic-scale miniature size!
By Santa's rich, white beard, I'll see you there at Warhammer Sydney from 10am, on December 9.

We will also be teaching you how to play the new game - so come in and try something new this December with your friends!

The Battle for Osgiliath is underway at Warhammer Sydney!

If you have never played The Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game before and you would like to have a go, you can always drop by the store and have a crack at commanding a Mordor Troll across the battlefield!

And for our buddying hobbyist who have yet to have tried painting a miniature, we can even teach you how to paint up a free Minas Tirith Warrior.

With the Red Gobbo's arrival, the holiday season has officially begun! There's lots to do in store, from building the free Mini of the Month to trying out new games.

Come in and ask our staff how to write an army list - it's one of the many in-store activities we offer (collect, build, paint, play and read activities)!

+++Miniature of the Month+++

The miniature of the month for November is the Freeguild Steelhelm - a brave human sent out to battle the forces of Chaos and reclaim the land in the name of the god-king, Sigmar.

If you haven't done so yet, you can come in and ask to build your November miniature of the month - just turn up, no bookings necessary! You can bring as many friends and family as you like!

Rijo (Space Marines) and Mathew (Necrons) worked really hard this year on their armies and it's been amazing to see their progress as painters.

This year they displayed their armies at Parade Day, and did a wonderful job.

If you ever want tips on painting, come in and have a chat, and we will be more than happy to help!

It was great to see all your amazing armies celebrated and on display!

Congratulations to Steven who took home first place overall with his Warp Travel Imperial Agents army and Luke who came first in Warhammer 40k with an awesome Chaos force!

We are open 10-6pm today, and Luke has been busy already setting up hid army for parading all day! He calls it 'Forest Walker' - Lion El'Jonson and his Dark Angels.

Armies on Parade - Saturday November 18

We can't wait to celebrate your hobby projects for 2023 with our Parade Day!

For those entering their army, there is really no minimum to bringing your entry in on the day for display, but as a guideline, see the attached picture for some army inspiration.

There are a couple of restrictions, which are:
One Army entry per person
Your Army must have been built and painted by you
Your display board must be maximum 2'x2' or 22"x30"
Miniatures must be Games Workshop minis (scratch-built terrain is fine)

If you're not entering, come in and support our entrants on the day - YOU get to vote and celebrate what your local community has been working on.

Days like rainy Sundays are great for painting... and even better with friends!
If you have some friends who are interested in Warhammer, you can bring them in for a free paint session with us, and a game demo!
On Sundays, we are open 11am-4pm, all you need to do is turn up any time.

About the day itself:
We open at 10am - entrants can drop off and set up their entry between 10am and 12pm.

Voting is from 12pm to 3:30pm - you, your friends and family can vote on your favourite three entries!

Awards ceremony is at 4pm, where we announce winners and celebrate our entrants for 2023!

This month's free mini is a luckless Steelhelm, and is a perfect chance to try something new from the realms of Age of Sigmar. Come in from November 11 to build one up in store!

Plus if you're new to Warhammer we'll run you through your first game and help you paint your choice of a Stormcast Eternal or Space Marine!

It's Work in Progress Wednesday! Will's started painting Kairos Fateweaver by loosely mapping out a colour scheme, then'll move on to actually neatening up the basecoats later. On such a big model you sometimes have to surrender to the mess!
