Only a few days to go of 2023 . The days are blurred between Xmas and New Years and it’s not the just the wine I’m drinking but the mixed bag of anticipation and anxiety I feel about things not done and things to do. It has been a year of continued gratitude to all my beautiful clients who I form such a close bond with as we go on the skin journey together . It has also been a year of continued personal growth as I learn to accept the challenges and work through them rather than feel anxiety paralysis and let them be a barrier to progress!
I have so many plans for 2024 I’m literally pulling back the bowstring in readiness to shoot into the new year with positivity and continued love of what I do , which I do as a single mum , an independent woman but trying to also smell the roses on the way !

I have so much admiration for this rockstar of a woman Talented , brave and living her truth which is awesome!!! Such a beautiful face and the red carpet sculpting facial was the go to today before her crazy schedule leading into a busy week !

The best part of my job is my clients . Today I thought how amazing you all are and how much I love my job . Good skin is such a journey and those who trust me with that journey I’m so grateful for . The most important part of your regime is consistency . In this order..

There is a feeling of raised anxiety , fear and a mix of sadness I have this week with all that is going on in the world . Last nights result is so disappointing as well . It reminds me of the mentality of the US when it comes to their ridiculous right to bare arms second amendment. People fear what they don’t understand and most of the gun control laws in tbe US are based on ignorance or deep seeded belief without courage to change . I’m not getting political but one part of the campaign for no was “if you don’t know , vote no !’ I mean how stupid is that! If you don’t know , find out !
My sympathy goes out to all affected by the world gone mad right now and today it seemed so beneficial , more than ever really for me to take time to do something that brings joy ! Do they for yourself today you are worth it x

Notes on Winter Skin Habits
The smallest changes can save your skin this week as the temps drop
1. Be aware of how much time you spend in front of the bar heater while home and cosy . While you are toasting your toes your face is getting a nice serve of dry heat which will dry out your skin leading to breakouts ! Your oil production will react to the surface heat by increasing production to compensate.
2. Apply Hyaluronic Acid after every cleanse and before you moisturise . HA keeps your skin surface hydrated by holding more water in your epidermis . It’s a must have for all skin types .
3. Introduce Emu oil into your life ! My Cherish oil is pure Australian Emu Oil and it’s incredibly good for your skins barrier protection ax well as relieving skin issues like eczema . If you are applying cortisone to dry patches it will eventually thin your skin ! Try Emu oil .
4. Eat more omega fatty acid rich foods to oil your skin from the inside . Add a little Olive Oil to your diet , eat more avocado and ad a supplement to your routine .
5. Collagen supplements taken daily can support connective tissue production and winter is a time for added support . Make your skin routine internal/external it’s worth it!

Lovely afternoon catching up with , sun , wine and chit chat

I have not slept all week . Last night I tossed and turned , my mind could not be stilled . 2am I got up and ate hummus and rice crackers .. why I’m not sure. I thought maybe a full tummy would feel comforting. It did . However today I was not good with 6 hours or so sleep , I need 8! Someone told me it’s the moon ! I have resolved this afternoon to pull it together with determination to embrace that this sign of restlessness is the universe telling me change is coming and it is up to me to make it a positive one! A rare timeout on a Friday infrared cleansed my angst ..perfect remedy ❤️
