AEONA

Back in March 2018, two brothers came to Aeona looking for a coworking space to grow their business. Fairly unsuspecting, friendly and hardworking, these were the types that were the last to leave every day and often worked tirelessly over the weekends.

At the time they were working on a project called etherbots -a blockchain based strategy game. For all of us here at Aeona, it was great to have coworkers that were working on an exciting new innovative project on the blockchain, especially during the crypto boom in 2018. Soon after they started, they had already begun to grow and we expanded our floorplate to facilitate their growth into their own office as they went on to release Gods Unchained a blockchain card game that took the world by storm, setting records across the crypto world. We were honoured to have the Goddess of Nature (pictured) named after us!

Today we are overjoyed to read that James and Robbie Fergusson of Immutable have closed a 200M raise at a valuation of 2.5B becoming Australia’s third most valuable private tech company! Two absolute legends and true innovators that couldn’t be more deserving of their current achievements.

We wish them continued success as they go on to change the face of the NFT landscape and innovate on emerging NFT and gaming technologies!

One of the best things about working in a coworking space is being surrounded by legends that are making a difference in this world.
