It's actually kind of nice, wearing all the winter sweaters and coats. Not sure how long the novelty will last but after years of living by the beach in Sydney, Darwin and LA, it's fun change!⁠

Happy Chinese New Year! When I was 13 my family moved to Hong Kong during the lunar new year. At the time I was so angry at my parents for taking me away from my life in Sydney. Now, I’m eternally grateful for my childhood in Asia. It spurred a passion for travel and handmade textiles that is the basis of Cedar Lilly today.

I also still have a group chat with the (stylish 90’s) girls I went to school with there. Scroll to the next pic 🤣🤦‍♀️

Finally got to spend some time and the beach. Was so lovely to feel the sun on my skin and splash around with my little man.

Tell me about a good (or bad) customer service experience you've had lately. As a working mum, I'm extremely time-poor. So often I get frustrated when shopping and leave without buying because I couldn't get the help I needed. ⁠

Sometimes being a small business owner is lonely work and you question yourself constantly. Other days are really special. Like this shoot from last week. A dream location, an incredible photographer and seeing my vision come alive. It’s a pretty great feeling being able to look around and think “you’ve doing alright Jess”.
