We know that the lock down life can sometimes get the best of us, so we're channeling some of those feelings into something constructive that can have real impact for our Hurstville community.

While the Pub doors have been closed the Kings Head team have been busy making this time count. We’re upping our skills and planning ahead to welcome back our South Hurstville community better than ever.

As we continue to do our part in keeping our community safe, our doors will remain closed for now.

With our staff being the heart and soul of our pub, we are committed to staying connected with each other and looking after the wellbeing of our whole team with ongoing support and development opportunities to re-open in tip-top shape for your return.

We are looking forward to re-opening soon and welcoming you, back to your local. For now, we say cheers for your support. We’ll share more about what we’ve been up to, so you can stay connected with your pub community.

As we play our part to keep our community safe, our Hotel doors are closed but only for now. Before you know it we will be sharing in each other's great company in the flesh once again.

For our awesome Publinc Communities members, your Personal points and Community points will be ready and waiting for your return. It’s times like these our commitment to making a positive difference grows ever stronger and more important for our local communities.

We will continue to support our staff team and keep you up to date as changes come to light. We look forward to that moment when our lights switch back on, our doors unlock and we can get back to what we do best and that is being your local; the place for us all to come together, enjoy good times with great company and do great things for our community.

This is Steve 👋

A familiar face around the pub, Steve's been coming into the Kings Head for 18 years, ordering a schooner of Carlton Draught and running the Punter's Club.🏇🍺

Steve was one of the first patrons to dive head first into our Publinc Communities membership, thrilled to be able to make a contribution with the ease of pledging via his phone! His favourite groups to pledge towards are Little Wings and Sunnyfield Disability Services.

All this week is National Volunteer Week. It's a celebration of the amazing work that almost six million Australians who dedicate over 600 million hours each year to help others - that's a lot of work! 💪🏆

At the Kings Head, along with your help, we support a number of groups who couldn't do the work they do without their volunteers! From Sydney Dogs and Cats Home to Little Wings and CASS Care.

You can show your appreciation as a Publinc Communities member and support the community groups that are supported by volunteers by pledging via www.publinc.com.au or asking our staff on your next visit!

While usually our barman Wilson is serving you up an Australian Brewery Pale Ale or Old Cattle Dog at the pub, last weekend he joined the brewery crew at the GABS Craft Beer Festival! 🍻

At the end of this weekend we say farewell to our assistant manager Fabian.😢

A truly valued member of the team here at KHT, Fabian has been given the opportunity to take on the role of Venue Manager at another pub.

We wish him all the luck in his future endeavours and will really, really miss him!
