NSW Local Government Aboriginal Network
LGAN was established in 1988 as an information exchange & forum to discuss issues related to Aboriginal communities, businesses and the wider community.
Our next LGAN members meeting is on the 10th of October. We will have a special presentation from Newcastle City Council's Aboriginal Engagement Partner on their third Innovate RAP !!
This RAP was developed over 2 years in consultation with internal stakeholders and importantly in consultation with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Focusing on the four RAP Pillars, Respect, Relationships, Opportunities and Governance, it is hoped this strategy will improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait people in the area.
RSVP's are required. Please email [email protected]
