A little over a week ago some of our gorgeous Goodstarters had the honour of walking in the Mona Vale Public School Book Week Parade for 2024!!

Educators & kids donned their costumes for a second time & had a magical experience parading alongside the "big kindy kids" 😊

Day 1 of celebrating Book Week 2024 here at Goodstart Early Learning Mona Vale!

We are so excited to share the magic of reading with our beautiful community 🪄 📖 ✨

Great news!!! We are so excited to welcome our first volunteer at the centre, please welcome Melissa Hannan. She started today volunteering her time to our centre, she is so gentle and was well received by our children in the nursery room, they immediately felt secure and safe with her.
Also, welcome Sandra Joseph who has joined our casual team. She is a very experienced Early Childhood Teacher with many years of experience and has already been so proactive bringing new ideas to our service.
We feel so blessed to have then becoming part of our team, please make them feel welcomed!

Today, we welcomed our newest member to the team. Her name is Tahlia Bakker and she would be working with Priscilla in the Toddlers room. We are very lucky to have Sherrie until the 22nd of March supporting them both to ensure children feel secure and minimise the impact of her leaving our centre. Tahlia would be introducing herself and taking the time to know the children and their families!

This week the educators in the Preschool and Pre-kindy room have been working on rearranging the learning spaces and the results are stunning. 🤩 well done!

At Goodstart Mona Vale everyday is a fun day, but today is particularly special for us and the children.

Being National Children’s day we had a whole heap of fun with balloons, water play, discos, party food, baking, bright colours and of course, lots of laughter

Goodstart Mona Vale would like to introduce out New ECT Jayne

Hello everyone, my name is Jayne.

I originate from the U.K. however I have spent most of my life in New Zealand. I moved to Sydney in January 2014
I have a background in social work related employment with children and families (advocacy, health and disability, and family court) and these experiences prompted me to start my Early Childhood Teaching qualification in 2005.
I am excited to be part of the Goodstart Mona Vale team and very much looking forward to getting to know all the families and support the children in their learning journey.

So today we say see you soon to our 2IC Asheigh as she embarks on her next chapter of her life
We wish Ashleigh and Blake all the very best and all the happiness in the world as they embark on parenthood. whilst we are so excited for you and can’t wait to meet the newest member of our good start family we will sincerely miss you

What a fun morning for our Preschool and Pre Kindy children. We were lucky enough to have the Firefighters from Mona Vale Fire station come and visit us and do a fire safety talk with the children to wrap up our 6 week fire safety program we’ve been doing within the classroom. Thank you Fire Fighters ! 🚒🧯👩‍🚒
