Due to their equal width and height, round eyes give you plenty of room to create beautiful eye looks.

You can add a bit more balance to round eyes by enhancing their outer corners. Start with neutral eyeshadow colours on the lid and gradually add darker shades toward the outer corner. There should be a slight upward angle at the point of the outer shading, almost like a sideways 'V'.

Additionally, smokey eyeliners elongate round eyes without taking away the natural shape of the eyes. Make sure the liner is angled upward at the end for extra lift.

An almond eye has an oval shape with slightly upturned corners and can pull off just about any eye look, the most complementary being a soft-winged liner.

Just line your top lash line with a liner to add extra dimension, accentuate the shape, and elongate your eyes for a more feline appearance. You can make your eyes appear bigger by using a darker colour on the outer corners of your eyes and a lighter colour on the waterline.
