Black Seed Eatery is a corporate cafe located in Parramatta CBD. Currently looking for amazing people to join our team.
In particular we are looking for experienced baristas, waitstaff and front of house counter staff able to operate POS.
Experience is an advantage but the right personality, work ethic and passion for customer service is essential.
Great work / life balance.
Monday - Friday only.
No nights No weekends.
Casual / full time roles available.

WE ARE REOPENING MONDAY 29th OF JUNE!!!
Our team at Black Seed Eatery are eager to welcome back our valued customers on Monday, so come down and bring a friend to grab some delicious coffee and food!

At Black Seed our number one priority is the well-being and safety of our customers and team members. We have been monitoring developments related to COVID-19 here in Sydney. We have decided to follow the recommendations from the Australian government and heath authorities and have made some changes to our service.
As of Monday (23 March):
-All coffee will be served in takeaway cups, and food in takeaway packaging. Crockery will no longer be available.
-Our seating area will now be closed as we will no longer be serving ‘dine-in’, but you are welcome to have a seat with your takeaway coffee.

Our trading hours have also been changed from 6:30am to 3pm. Food service will close at 2pm.

To help minimise the spread of the virus our team members will be taking extra precautions.

We understand that these changes might feel disruptive, but we believe that it is the right thing to do for guests and team members. We assure you that these changes are temporary, and we thank you in advance for your support.

Currently on the search for a passionate, savvy and experienced barista / all rounder with outstanding customer service skills.

The successfull candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about specialty coffee, quality food and customer service with the ability to build rapport easily.

Must have experience working in a high volume cafe and able to operate point of sale.

Outstanding customer service skills with a minimum 2 years experience working front of house in a cafe in Australia is required.

Fluent English and FULL Australian work rights is essential minimum 38 hours.

Great work environment, pay rate and hours allowing for work / life balance.

Christmas is just around the corner and we would like to wish everyone a happy holidays from all the staff at Black Seed Eatery! This year we celebrated Christmas by catering for over 500 people with a beautiful selection of food and decorations. Thanks to our staff the end result turned out great! 🎄🎊

From Us.

The Black Seed café/eatery was designed with the idea of Sydney’s east meets west. The owners wanted a fresh contemporary design to spruce up western Sydney otherwise safe conventional, and square café styles. They wanted an edgy, trendy, and stylish layout to compliment the stylish and full of flavour cuisine’s they were introducing.
The design was inspired by natural earthy tones with a splash of contemporary abstract art along with some reflective coloured stainless-steel designer pieces to bring a more entertaining feel to an already great space. 🔶📸 by 🔸
