At Greyhound Rescue, we believe every hound deserves a chance at a loving home, especially those with special needs. We take in greyhounds that others might overlook due to medical needs, recovery from injuries, or behavioural quirks. These special souls require extra care, patience, and understanding, and that's where you come in!

💖 Meet Little Miss 💖

Little Miss was born with deformed limbs that required major surgery. She needs a quiet lifestyle to ensure her continued recovery. But that's not all – she was rescued from a hoarder situation and, as a result, has some behavioural challenges. Little Miss needs a patient and understanding family willing to work with her to overcome these issues.

Every day, we see the resilience and sweetness of greyhounds like Little Miss. They may have had a rough start, but with the right family, they can flourish and fill your home with endless love.

How You Can Help:

1. Adopt: If you have the heart and home for a higher-needs hound, consider adopting one of our special greyhounds. Your love and patience can transform their lives.

2. Donate: Not in a position to adopt? You can still make a huge difference! Donations help us cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and daily care for these deserving dogs.

I'm a rookie Wookie ready to 'rrruuurrr' into your heart and kick back, Chewbacca'n on a toy. The human life here on Planet Greysland categorised me as an intelligent lifeform –– confident, affectionate, outgoing and a very loving 5 year old houndie.

My ideal home planet will contain lovely humans, big and small (I'd do best with ages 5+) and patient dogs. I can be a bit selective with the dogs I prefer, and I'd love your patient guidance as I find my way in this world.

I just need a little reassurance and your gentle care, so I can feel secure to explore this unfamiliar world. I can be a strong baby on my lead, but I settle quickly on my walks. I'm a natural skywalker. A sweetheart with beautiful eyes and smile, I'll be your Only-Wan.
