Do you own an open top convertible? Show it off in the 2023 Repco Bathurst 1000 Transporter and Driver Parade!

Bathurst Regional Council is seeking open top vehicles to carry Supercar drivers in the parade on Wednesday 4 October.

Vehicles must be:
- Open-top (no utes).
- Roadworthy and registered (with either normal road or club registration).
- Have a licensed driver to operate the vehicle in the parade.

Second weekend in a row at Sydney Motorsport park. This time for the Motor Racing Australia - MRA Sydney 300 🏁

The team decided to enter three drivers Corrine, Liam & Tony for the 77 lap race.

Qualifying was spilt into 3 parts, much like a Formula 1 format. Corrine was given the opportunity to qualify the car for the big race.

Q1 saw Corrine cement her place into the top 60% of the field and we were into Q2. After a phenomenal performance in Q2 Corrine managed to secure P4 in class with a 1:46:656 lap time 🙌🏻

With the tight turn around between qualifying and the race start the team worked well to service the car and fuel it up ready to be on the grid.

Off the back of a strong qualifying Corrine was excited to start the race. After a rolling start Corrine managed to stay out of trouble and brought the car in for the first pit stop after a solid 20 lap stint.

The pit crew sprung into action with a faultless fuel drop, tyre change and driver change with time to spare as we were well within the 5 minute minimum pit stop window.

Liam was in the car for the second stint and started to move up the order. After some good battles and two safety car periods 30 laps had gone by and it was time to get Tony in the car to finish the race.

Another great pit stop from the team saw Tony out on track with 17 laps to go. Tony was driving well and was navigating his way through the field. Unfortunately with 2 laps to go a tyre let go and Tony had to limp the car back to the pits for a tyre change.

Whilst the result wasn’t what we were after we couldn’t be happier with how well the team worked under pressure 💪🏻 thanks guys and thank you to all our sponsors.

2023 Pitcher Partners Sydney 300 is headed our way! 🙌🏼 Motor Racing Australia - MRA

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝟑𝟎𝟎 | 𝟐𝟓 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨!
𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 & 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐬 - #𝟔 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐!

While the 2022 Pitcher Partners produced a whole host of statistics for the record books, and quickly cemented its place in 300 history, the Wakefield and Winton 300's produced some historical firsts as well.

Let’s start with the Wakefield 300… Daniel Kapetanovic and Adam Thompson made history, when they drove to victory from 16th on the grid, becoming the first car to win a ‘300’ after starting from outside of the top ten.

The Pinnacle Automotive entry also made history, by securing BMW’s seventh win in a ‘300’, but its first in New South Wales.

Five months later, at Sydney Motorsport Park, Dylan Thomas and Cody Brewczynski (CXC Racing) became the first Division B entry to take an outright win at Sydney Motorsport Park, securing Mitsubishi’s fifth ‘300’ triumph.

All of Mitsubishi’s success has come on New South Wales soil, but the 2022 Pitcher Partners Sydney 300 was the first time the Japanese manufacturer had won a ‘300’ staged somewhere other than Goulburn’s Wakefield Park.

It was also the first Sydney 300 to be run in damp/wet conditions.

Then came Winton Motor Raceway, where, after far too many attempts, Benny Tran (along with Ben Connell), BYP Racing and Honda finally broke through for 300 supremacy.

In being just the fifth car to win from fifth on the grid in '300' history, they also ventured into uncharted territory, by becoming the first ever Division C entry to secure outright honours... something Chris Sutton (321 MotoFit) fell just short of doing, here at Sydney Motorsport Park, four months earlier.

Tran and Connell also broke the existing Winton 300 race record, that had stood for TEN years!

Historically, Division B/2 has been the most successful in the history of the format, netting 22 wins - two of which came in 2022, appropriately enough - while Division A/1 has secured outright honours on 12 occasions.

Should a Division A car win the 2023 Pitcher Partners Sydney 300, it'd end a 791-day drought for the outright division, although it should be noted the previous two Winton 300's had no starters in Division A.
