Hey there! 👋 I’m Jen, Co-Founder of Hightail! ⁠
With so many new followers, I thought it was time for a reintroduction plus I wanted to share these images shot by my friend and very talented photographer 🤩 ⁠
I started my motorcycle journey in 2005, after I met a woman who rode and then watched Kill Bill, I was brimming with inspiration to be a baddie too. I took the MSF course, ticked the motorcycle endorsement box, and then headed to my first duty station in Japan, where I was stationed as a Naval Officer. That’s where I bought my first bike, a 400cc Suzuki Sportbike. That lil gem took me on solo adventures through the Japanese countryside where I chased sunsets and soaked up much needed alone time (because you don’t get much of that on a Navy ship). ⁠
Now I ride with my Co-Founder and partner in life, Jon, first in Australia, where we started Hightail, and now back on the East Coast of the US. On a memorable moto adventure in Aus, I ended up dealing with knots and tangles in my hair from that took waaaay too long to get out. Determined to find a solution, Jon and I crafted our first prototype, and the rest is history. I’m delighted to share our journey with you and keep the road ahead tangle-free! 🏍️✨ Our Hightail community has grown so much, and we love the positive support and adventures shared here on Instagram. Can’t wait for more! 🌟 ⁠
