Exhibiting in Sydney at the Australian Antique & Art Dealers Association Fair. Held in the beautiful setting of The Great Hall of Sydney University, all looking fabulous.

A 7.5 x 4.5 metre antique Ushak and a 7.5 x 5.0 metre antique Tabriz, too big to fully open in our shop but they certainly look spectacular at the Powerhouse Museum, ready for the opening of 1001 Remarkable Objects Exhibition. We look forward to completion of our building works with a new large showroom!

Serapi, North-West Persia, c.1880 ✨ Striking medallion and corner spandrels in salmon pink and indigo set against an ivory background.⁣

Via Woman from New Julfa (before 1650) signed by Marcos, an otherwise unknown Armenian painter active in Isfahan in the 17th century. Such a fantastically rich costume! ✨💁🏻‍♀️ (Swipe for the shoes!) Marcos’ paintings focused very much on the structure and layering of fabrics, probably because New Julfan merchants played such a dominant role in the international textile trade.⁣⁣
