“Thank you Mum!”

Wanting to wish my beautiful mother Margaret Giannakos all the best for her retirement!!!!

Mum founded the business that I proudly manage Bravofoods in 2010 with my father George.

Well before I joined, she had set up the office and built the very foundations for me to take over and make my own.

She has been an absolute back bone of our business and for the first 7 years of our trade she managed the accounting department entirely, AP, AR, admin and everything in between. She’s is certainly a Jack of all trades and master in many!

She taught me a lot of what I know in this area today and she gave us, her family a chance to grow!

Infact Mums been doing our family business accounting for over 50 years! A stellar career!!!

I’m sure I came into Bravo and tried to push her around a little and probably put her under pressure along the way as we grew leaps and bounds, year after year!

As a family business often many would say it’s tough working with parents!

… but there is something very special about coming to work daily and seeing your family and the trust and commitment we have amongst each other is second to none.
I would change it for anything!

She’s finally thrown the calculator away, having worked 6 days and often 7 days for our family and our businesses ongoing.

In the last 12 months she’s been entering orders each and every night which is an extremely challenging task and ungodly hrs to look after our valued customers.

Her commitment to all of us and our business is endless.

I can’t ever repay mum for all she’s done for me personally!

She’s an incredibly strong women that deserves to put her feet up, and enjoy a rest!

A thanks isn’t enough so I encourage you all to get behind her, reach out and say hello and make her feel that little bit extra special!

She deserves it and I love you mum!
