What a Buzz Wednesday was!

The day began bright and early at 7am with the Premier’s Breakfast with Hon. Chris Minns and inspiring start to the morning! A big shoutout to the The Greater Narellan Business Chamber for their ongoing achievements, and to Anne Marie Parnham’s leadership.

The energy continued into the evening at the Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce dinner event, where Mayor of Campbelltown George Greiss joined us for a night filled with insightful discussions. We recognised the outstanding contributions of our Mayor Dr Greiss & Mayor of Camden, Ashleigh Cagney, celebrated our collective successes, and spoke about economic growth and community engagement in our region.

The buzz in the room was contagious, with everyone coming together to support our shared vision for a thriving Campbelltown & Beyond.

Days like this remind us just how vibrant, forward-thinking, and collaborative our Macarthur community is. Here’s to keeping the momentum going as we work towards an even brighter future for our region!

Shefali had the privilege of attending the Macarthur Premiere of The Blind Sea.

An incredible story that brings the beauty of the ocean to everyone, regardless of their vision.

The story is about a blind man surfing 50 ft waves at Nazaré, Portugal, and is breathtaking.

Created by our very own local production house, Brick Studios,
Huge congratulations to Daniel Fenech&Erin Fenech for their dedication in making this vision a reality.

The cinematography was truly a feast for the senses!

The ocean, especially the awe-inspiring waves of Nazaré, has a way of touching your soul, even if you’re not a surfer. It’s an experience that everyone should feel, and Blind Sea makes that possible.

This remarkable organization provides safe, secure, and supported accommodation for women and children escaping domestic and family violence, offering them a chance to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Especially blessed to have teamed up with the wonderful Jenni Eaton from Eaton Cakes AUas in-kind sponsors for the event.

One of the most moving moments of the night was listening to Stacey Jane from Escabags - Escape Bags share her story. No matter how many times you hear it, it brings a tear to your eye. Her courage and determination to support those escaping violence remind us all of the importance of the work being done by organizations like Camden Women's ShelterCamden Women’s Shelter.

Supporting women and children in need is not just about providing a roof over their heads; it’s about restoring their confidence, self-esteem, and giving them the tools they need to reclaim their lives.
