Most women get flowers, chocolates and jewellery for their birthday.... I got a concrete slab and I am sooooo excited!!!
This is the start of a massive living, dining and kitchen space opening up to a new alfresco... cant wait to show you the finished product! Thanks to North Rocks Concreting! They are awesome !

So excited the house is starting to reveal her beauty again. Cannot wait to show you more..

Starting the year off with a new kitchen design. I always start using pencil and paper to get my ideas out. What do you think of the inspiration photos

Working on some paint concepts today for an entry way. When you are choosing colours, you have to consider the other elements in the space that are remaining and the light that the space has. It is amazing how even whites and neutrals will throw different colours in different spaces. Some of the neutral colours for this space were looking more blue than white!

Wow what a different... from old and stale to light bright and airy...

A paint transformation! The house was originally apricot brick with red roof and metal fences. SWIPE TO SEE THE BEFORE!
We removed the shutters, sprayed the roof and fences in Dulux Domino and the bricks in Dulux Natural White. The front porch was tiled in a dark grey tile and landscape was added to soften the space.
TIP! When painting the downpipes, always paint them the same colour as the wall not the roof. The downpipes then blend in and do not become a feature.

Today we say goodbye to our latest project.. This house has seen our family through some very interesting times. We settled here the week covid hit Australia in March 2020. It kept us busy renovating through lockdowns and was our solace when this world's future was unknown. We have enjoyed living here and always sad to leave such friendly neighbours behind.
The house has had new life breathed into it and now ready for the next family to move in and make amazing memories.
May the house be filled with life, love and laughter ❤

I love creating new floorplans for homes that have outdated layouts. Its fun to see how I can take a non functional floorplan and design it for modern living.
My first concepts are always done on my phone or tablet using drawing tools to remove and add walls and features. Once happy with the layout, I then draw it to scale in sketchup.
