Have you spotted our historically inspired replica 1950s Saigon street signs? After the French withdrawal from Vietnam in 1954, almost all street names were changed from French to Vietnamese. Many early street signs included the old French names to help Saigonese with the transition, such as Tự Do (formerly Rue Catinat), now Dồng Khởi. Chicken rice in Vietnam is called Cơm Gà Hải Nam. But our rice is different. We use a special method that uses fresh herbs and doesn't require chicken fat. Come try it and tell me if it's not one of the best and healthiest rice you've had in Sydney

50 shades of phở - this is "phở chua" at Madame Nhu. It is our version of a regional dish from Lạng Sơn which has very little in common with the more famous Hanoi style phở. I just noticed these photos from 📷 . Thank you! 💛
