Tested System Tuesday | COAX Cables in 60min Plasterboard Ceiling System
We have tested a cable bundle containing 4 x COAX Cables treated with market leading FireMastic-300™ fire sealant in a single layer 60min fire rated plasterboard ceiling to achieve FRL -/60/60.
This system not only provides the required FRL, it also provides an RISF of 64 minutes too.

We have tested our market leading BOSS Batt™ in Cross-Laminated Timber to achieve FRL -/120/120 to provide a fire rated floor system with blank openings.
The combination of our versatile BOSS Batt™ and our FireMastic-300™ create an easy to install and cost-efficient retrofit system in accordance with AS1530.4:2014 & AS4072.1-2005.

Tested System Tuesday | 32mm Steel Sprinkler Pipe – Ceiling System
Recently we tested market leading FireMastic-300™ fire rated sealant on a 32mm steel sprinkler pipe in a single layer fire rated plasterboard ceiling system which comfortably achieved FRL -/60/60.
No thermal wraps or blankets were required and no need to build up or locally thicken the substrate. The FireMastic-300™ was applied as a flush seal only to the annular gap around the pipe, making it a cost effective, easy to install system saving the installer time and money.
