Sadly, acne cannot be scrubbed away! 😭

If you have active inflamed acne or breakouts (if they are filled with pus, red, sore, or even crusty) physical exfoliants like scrubs can worsen acne by:

🔥 Causing more inflammation
🦠 Spreading around acne-causing bacteria from one pimple to another
🚧 Damaging your skin's barrier, leading to more irritation and over-dried skin

Yes, scrubs can be great for other skin types and conditions, such as non-inflamed acne (small colorless bumps under the skin)

However, they must not be used on a daily basis as it can lead to over-exfoliation.

Chemical exfoliation is a better option for inflamed acne breakouts
👉🏻 This can be incorporated into your routine by using AHA's/ BHA's such as glycolic, salicylic, lactic acid, etc.

👉🏻 Always consult your skincare provider to ensure you are using the proper ingredients for your skin concerns.

Let’s talk about Brow Lamination Aftercare :

Even though brow lamination is a low maintenance service, there are some things you should keep in mind AFTER getting your brows done ✨

Brushing them daily is a must! Trying brushing them at least 2x a day

Avoid getting them wet for at least 𝟐𝟒 hours

Brows can get dry after a lamination service, applying a brow serum or conditioner is a must! You can also book a maintenance appointment 🤍

As tempting as it might be, please avoid touching your freshly laminated brows. If you do, make sure your hands are clean.

Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating your brows, ESPECIALLY if you have tint! This will fade away your tint.
