traditionally made with quince jam which I do weekly but I wanted to add a bit of a surprise twist…
so I made it with pumpkin jam 😳 yes pumpkin! and is delicious 👌🏻.

I love in winter and if possible we come once a year with the boys to rest and soak in the crispy mountain air ( how I like to call it)
As I am resting I don’t want to do much cooking but scones is a must and I am happy to make a batch and enjoy them looking at the view.
I brought the dry ingredients all mixed and ready to add the butter etc so it was easy,the one thing I didn’t bring was a scones cutter, but a glass did the job just as good. My mum always uses a glass to cut scones or biscuits.
We all enjoyed them very much 😋 . . .
