Full-Time Senior Chef



Korean Samurai is a highly reputable and well-established Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant, and is seeking a skilled and experienced candidate to work as a Full-Time Senior Chef.



The tasks and duties of the position include, but are not limited to:



Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies as may be necessary
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen and waiting staff
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures and methods to kitchen staff
Preparing and cooking food for service
Examining and enforcing hygiene regulations and standard to avoid hazards and risks to customers
Demonstrating leadership and guidance for other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient productivity


Position type: Permanent Full-Time



Work schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 38 hours per week. Reasonable overtime may be required from time to time as needed.



Education: Diploma or higher (preferred)



Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef (preferred)



Salary: Annualised salary package of $70,000 plus superannuation
