Selva Kina is a Solicitor and a Mediator who is practicing in a wide range of areas. Due to the high demand during Covid, her current main focus is on Immigration Law.

Selva’s experience has exposed her to many complex matters which has shown outstanding results. Selva speaks Assyrian and Arabic and is able to assist you today with your Immigration matters and concerns.

We asked Selva Daniel her thoughts on her goals in 2022:

What is your Motto for 2022?
My main Motto for 2022 would be “Work hard in silence and let success make the noise.”

What area of law do you prefer to work on?
It’s really hard to say, working as a lawyer for so many years gives you the opportunity to see different matters, cultures and people. Whereas, as a mediator I like solving problems before they enter court as you get to hear both sides of the story.

But now, my main focus would be on Immigration matters as I really enjoy representing those people who can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

What is your goal working at Phillip Silver & Associates?
My goal is to have my own team and grow in the immigration sector. Helping both my community and making dreams come true for all those people who want to come to Australia. I want to focus also on those clients who want to invest in Europe and live there permanently.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I want to be travelling the world and running an immigration firm for Phillip in Greece. Also, becoming an expert in my field and helping those in need.

We are back and running for another year of Success. We couldn’t reach where we are today without the hard work and dedication of our valuable team members.

It’s time to start the year with an appreciation post for Maggie Niu as she never seems to sleep. Maggie answers emails and messages at any time and gives 100% effort to every client. Maggie is a valued member of the Migration team at Phillip Silver and Associates.

Maggie joined us in 2019 and has completed her Master of Accounting(Professional) at Macquarie University. She became an Australian Permanent Resident through skilled migration in May 2017. By the end of December 2017, she had completed her Graduate Certificate in Migration law and Practice at Victoria University.

We asked Maggie her thoughts…

What is your Motto in life?
Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.

What do you do when you have those busy days? How do you manage?
As a Registered Migration Agent, I need to handle multiple tasks during the same period or on the same day. This includes consulting clients, replying to emails, reviewing documents and lodging applications. I also communicate with the government authorities. I have my own logbook for all the ongoing matters that I am currently undertaking, and have a clear to do list for each working day. I am always prioritising the most important matters, making sure I meet the deadlines.

What is your goal working at Phillip Silver & Associates?
My goal is to become a professional all-rounder, providing all the services that a Registered Migration Agent can do for a client with an outstanding quality and helping all migrants to settle down in Australia.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I want to have gained more experience in immigration law professions and ultimately to master my position and advance into a managerial role.

How do you value yourself?
I am an enthusiastic Registered Migration Agent with more than 6 years experiences in immigration industry. I get excited about all migration related matters especially for those challenging cases. As a responsible professional staff, I enjoy everything that I can do for clients, to achieve a successful outcome.
