Sticky Chai

When you haven’t posted anything on instagram in a few years you really begin to dread the task.. a mixture of too much going on with work commitments, starting a family and moving interstate has led to many things being sidelined. It’s been almost four years since we sold our beloved cafe bakery in Marrickville and a bit over a year since we did the same with our little pizzeria and bolted to southern Tasmania mid-pandemic with a van and trailer filled to the brim with two small children and their soft toy collection! To return to Sydney for a family visit and be confronted by the stories of friends and long time supporters whose businesses have been ravaged by this turbulent time is both humbling and heartbreaking. Whilst the followers may have dwindled on social media, we have enjoyed more support than ever for our chai by cafes all over the country and are very grateful for that. Please take a moment to check in with your local cafe or restaurant and support them in whatever manner you can.
