Wattle Grove Hotel had the absolute pleasure of hosting a very special event over the weekend.
Our young friend Joel had been wanting to shave his long luscious locks for a good cause - Kids With Cancer. He went above and beyond with his target reaching over $6000 for such a great cause. We are so honoured to be a part of Joel and the McCanna Families amazing work and efforts. We would also like to give a special mention to Max at Royal Blend Casula for his handy work with the razor. Well done everyone!

We love our Locals! Without you, we aren’t us! It’s our community that makes coming to work that little more enjoyable.

It’s people like these three lovable larrikins Col, Macca and Oz that make us proud to be a part of such a wonderful, caring and hilarious community!

Ahead of Mother’s Day this weekend, this mum of 1 shared what she likes about working at Wattle Grove and juggling Mum life.

Chatting to Laura she shared that “The team is my family; they make my time at work fun and memorable. The support I get as a first-time mum is amazing! I love the sense of community; the locals always check in on me and ask about my daughter which makes me feel like part of an even bigger family .”

We are looking for Bar and Gaming superstars to join our team! Experience is preferred but not essential.

All applicants will need a valid RSA & RCG.

We're continuing to knuckle down and are now working together with our Publinc Communities members to understand how we can be better when we reopen our doors.

We know that the lock down life can sometimes get the best of us, so we're channeling some of those feelings into something constructive that can have real impact for our Wattle Grove community.

Together we're sparking positive change so that the future will be bright when we can welcome you back.

Whilst our doors have been closed, our team have been busy working in our bottle shop, studying, exercising, making music, getting the housework done and spending time with our families.

We continue to work on what’s next for Wattle Grove, planning and developing our skills to keep your local in top condition!

Our pub may be closed, but you can catch our friendly staff keeping busy and helping out our team in our bottle shop for the time being.

We'd like the thank you for your continued support and awesome messages of encouragement during this time. We are supporting our whole team while counting down the days until we see you again!

As we play our part to keep our community safe, only the doors to our Bottle Shop will remain open for now.

For our awesome Publinc Communities members, your Community points and Personal points will be ready and waiting for you on your return, or can continue to be used in our Bottle Shop. It’s times like these our commitment to making a positive difference grows ever stronger and more important for our local communities.

We will continue to support our staff team and keep you up to date as changes come to light. We look forward to that moment when our lights switch back on, our doors unlock and we can get back to what we do best and that is being our local; the place for us all to come together, enjoy good times with great company and do great things for our community.
