From the engagement cake to the wedding cake and now their daughters christening cake 💞✨

With only a few weeks until this cake was due there was a last minute design change. The original cake design was to have a fresh floral crown and a cascading fresh floral arrangement along the base. I had a call from the bride explaining that the original flowers for the cake that were going to be supplied had changed. And given that it was only a week or 2 out from the wedding we started going through options. I suggested sugar flowers, and anyone who has made sugar flowers know how tedious the work is and the quantity needed to be able to create a complete look with fullness. I then set off to create a small garden for this gorgeous cake.

This design ended up having 20 large roses, 10 small rose buds, 100 hydrangeas, 50 leaves and 40 filler flowers.

Its amazing to see what we can push ourselves to achieve in such a short amount of time 💞
