A reminder that we have resumed face-to-face sessions! Medicare rebates will continue to be available for online consultations also (with a current Medicare referral). If you have any questions please contact us.

From 1st November we are resuming to face-to-face sessions. In line with public health orders, and to manage work health and safety risks, face-to-face appointments will only be available for individuals who are fully vaccinated. If you'd like face-to-face appointments from November 1st, please contact us so we can arrange this for you. If we don't hear from you, we will assume you want to continue with online appointments. Medicare rebates will continue to be available for online consultations (with a current Medicare referral).

Think Clinical Psychologists are based in Neutral Bay and North Sydney and we're looking for a warm, friendly, enthusiastic clinical psychologist/clinical psychologist registrar/experienced registered psychologist to join our supportive team as a contractor 1.5-4 days per week (with the potential for additional work as desired in the future).

NB: while Sydney is in lockdown, our clinical team, at their own discretion, are either seeing clients for face to face appointments, seeing clients via our online platform from our offices, or seeing clients online from home

The practice has an extensive referral base and is well respected in the community as a practice that offers a high standard of client care and effective treatment for kids, teens, adults, couples, and families presenting with a wide range of difficulties. We're dedicated to providing a supportive working environment and offer:

· A steady flow of client referrals
· Referrals consistent with your preferred areas of practice (our admin team take bookings based on your preferred areas of practice)

· Peer supervision and team support (while also having the freedom to work independently)

Essential criteria for this role include:
· Registration (or eligibility within the next 12-24 months) for AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist OR 3+ years experience as a registered psychologist
· Strong CBT skills and experience with other therapeutic modalities (e.g. DBT, schema therapy, ACT, play-therapy)

Other desirable criteria include:
· Experience working with children and adolescents
· Experience working with complex presentations
· Ability to provide after hours or weekend sessions
