Our Story
ESD Gallery is part of East Sydney Doctors.
The building has a long history as an art gallery and is located at 102 Burton Street, Darlinghust, opposite Sydney's historic National Art School.
In 2008, East Sydney Doctors ( formerly known as 407 Doctors) moved from 407 Bourke Street Darlinghurst to take over 102 Burton St for their medical practice. The former gallery space became the surgery's waiting room, leaving the wall space and retaining the front window as a place to hang art and to host art exhibitions.
East Sydney Doctors encourager artists in keeping with their ethos- advocating the importance of supporting and celebrating our local and diverse community.
