Amnon is a leading specialist of Krav Maga. He is an Expert Level 5 and is head of SMART Krav Maga. Amnon has been training and teaching Krav Maga for over 30 years. He was part of the Global Instructor Team for organisations like KMG.

Amnon is one of Senior Instructor Kurt Colpan's main Instructors and a friend. He's a fun guy who is deadly serious when it comes to Krav Maga. Whether you know him or not, you're sure to learn and refine - and you'll have a great time doing it!

Krav Maga Systems latest post!

Thank you for your continued support. Our attendance has remained steady and we are so pleased we are able to participate in physical activity and training without interruption.

In the current environment, Krav Maga Systems understands the people have concerns regarding the safety of continuing to access our classes. We wish to inform you that we are taking the unfolding situation very seriously.

As has been outlined previously, we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure minimal risk during our classes.

All staff have completed online training provided by the Australian Government to ensure we have a full understanding of the situation.

In regards to the guidelines set by the Australian Government this week, we are doing the following:

+ 100 people limit. All of our classes are well under this number

+ 4 squared metres per person. In each venue, we meet this criteria easily. If necessary, we will request parents drop their children off and leave the venue to ensure we stay well within this guideline.

+ 1.5m social distancing. The Government has recommended physical contact be minimised as much as is practicable. Due to the nature of the training, zero contact is not practicable. We do aim to minimise contact wherever possible, reducing the number of people each student works with during each class. Where possible, we keep students spaced out as much as we can. All other non-essential contact, such as high-fives and handshaking is discouraged, inline with this recommendation.

+ Hygiene. Students are reminded to wash hands regularly, before, after and during class, and attend classes only if they are well.

Most dance schools, martial arts clubs, music schools, swimming centres and gymnastics clubs are still open and running classes as usual. Those who have closed have done so by choice (or by the choice of their local council), not because they have been required to by the Health Department or the Australian Government

We will continue to be guided by the information provided by the Australian Government over the coming weeks and months. Small businesses are already feeling the effects of the current situation.
