We are very excited to introduce you to the First Nations Tourism Mentoring Program (FNTMP)!

The FNTMP will provide First Nations tourism businesses around Australia with access to free, tailored and one-on-one mentoring services from experienced tourism industry professionals. The program is funded by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) and administered by a partnership between PwC’s Indigenous Consulting (PIC), Intrepid Travel and Welcome to Country.

Applications are open for experienced First Nations tourism industry professionals and community leaders to become mentors.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Indigenous Tech Academy, in collaboration with PwC Australia, Revolent and Salesforce. We will be helping young Indigenous people all across Australia start their careers in Salesforce through a fully supported careers development program. Congratulations to PIC’s Digital and Innovation Team who were recognised for a Gold Award in Social Impact by the Good Design Awards of Australia for AIME's online education platform, IMAGI-NATION {University}.

The project was an opportunity to fundamentally alter education in Australia and around the world - and all based on Indigenous values. PIC was the primary partner in designing, developing, and delivering this project into reality, with support from PwC and Salesforce.

The jury commented that it was “Great to see the care taken to bring together both the learnings and the hopes of the young people served. This is a strong, necessary, and ambitious idea that is beautiful and sensitive, generated and developed by and for the people who will most need it and use it. Could be a real game changer in reframing education. Many people talk about evolving education, but this might actually do it. Overall, a really impressive example of design for impact and a standout project that ticks every box for good design in this category. Well done.”
