With the fast approaching, it’s time to talk about the next in our line up of incredible sponsors. Without the support of these generous and supportive businesses, the quilt show could not run, and more importantly- you wonderful quilters wouldn’t have any prizes to win for your hard work! 🙂

Continuing with our Major level sponsors for 2024. Mini Jumbuck donate one of their beautiful battings to the winner of every category in the Show, every year. We so appreciate their ongoing support of our quilters!

Stitch 2340 is a lovely patchwork shop in Tamworth, NSW! Under new management, Stitch 2340 remains one of the largest speciality patchwork fabric stores in regional New South Wales, offering an extensive collection of sewing quilting and embroidery fabrics. Their specialty lies in crafting unique sashiko kits, perfect for creating stunning cushions, handbags, runners and more. Visit their store in Tamworth or online today find out why creatives throughout Dubbo, Inverell and surrounds have made Stitch 2340 their go-to destination for textile supplies.

And last but not least, Patchwork on Pittwater - our social media manager’s lovely local store! - is owned and operated by Northern Beaches local, Robyn Evans. Patchwork on Pittwater stocks traditional and modern fabrics including Judy Rothermel’s Civil War and 1930’s ranges, Kaffe Fassett’s colourful creations as well as selected fabrics from Riley Blake Designs, Amy Butler, Michael Miller, A Day in The Country, Joel Dewberry, Anna Maria Horner and Liberty. Robyn also stocks a large variety of original feed sacks.

Announcing our line up of incredible tutors for the Sydney Quilt Show, 2024! Luke Haynes is coming from the USA as our international tutor.

A chance encounter with a box of fabric remnants first sparked his quilting imagination. Luke’s first quilt, measuring an incredible 7’ x 10’, led him through years of experimentation and improvements over the years he has been quilting. Luke uses reclaimed materials from the communities he works with in his projects to speak with the textile language of the area.

Details and bookings for Luke’s workshops are available now at the QuiltNSW website. Stay tuned for the reveal of rest of our star tutors.
