The Luke Gardoni Cup will occur at Fred Caterson Reserve on Saturday, July 27. The event will feature raffles, a gold coin BBQ starting at 12:30 PM, and an exciting match between the Men’s Premier League teams, Castle Hill United FC and Kenthurst District FC. This event aims to support End Unexplained Cardiac Death (ENDUCD), with all funds raised going towards this little-known medical condition. ENDUCD tragically took the life of Luke Gardoni, a CHUFC Premier League player, during a 1st First Grade football match in 2020.
Raffle tickets will be sold all day. With over 16 prizes to be won. The Raffle winners will be announced at half time of Prems Game ~3:45 PM
Here is a brief description of the Raffle prizes.
Bottles of Wines ranging from $50 – 100 dollars per bottle (6 x lots of 2 bottles)
4 x Meat Trays – each worth worth at least $100
2 x $100 Coles/Myer card
1 X $50 Coles/Myer card
1 x Jumbuck Kettle BBQ ($75 value)
2 x CHUFC gear ($100 value each)
All money raised will be donated to ENDUCD in honour of Luke Gardoni.

Castle Hill United FC would like to acknowledge and thank the NSW Government, Office of Sports and Mark Hodges - Member for Castle Hill for successfully securing funding for a new Line Marker under the Local Sports Grant Program 2023/24.

Today, our All Abilities girls team were given the opportunity to play football alongside Matilda’s star, Alex Chidiac! Alex was on the field playing with the girls in their respective teams the entire session, encouraging and supporting them all. She also took time to sign memorabilia and take photos. Thank you to North West Sydney Football Association and the PINK team for having us and sharing such an exciting opportunity with the girls.

Fred Caterson is open for training for scheduled teams. Field 4 remains closed. Our 2 scheduled games will proceed as planned. Please note that 18/1 and 45/1 for your team are on field setup and pack-up.

Mental health is an integral component of overall well-being, yet it often does not receive the attention it deserves. By dedicating a round to mental health awareness, we can play a crucial role in breaking the stigma, encouraging open conversations, and providing valuable resources to our community.

Over the next week we will be promoting organisations locally and and nation wide that provide support to individuals when they may be going through a challenging time.

Statistically 43% of Australians aged 16-85 will struggle with a mental health condition in a 12 month period. As a community we are sharing these resources to help try and provide information and support⚽
