As part of National Safe Work Month in October, SafeWork NSW is hosting a Chat and Create Event to be held in Orange. POSITION VACANT – Mechanical Fitter/Tradesman
We are seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Fitter to be based at our Stockinbingal Grain Receival Site in the beautiful Riverina region of New South Wales.
Our grain sites, receive, store, protect and outload wheat to supply our state-of-the-art facilities in Bomaderry, Manildra and Narrandera, NSW to meet our customers flour, starch, gluten and ethanol requirements.
The Maintenance Fitter position is a hands-on role that reports directly to the Grain Operations Manager and will be required to travel between sites as required.
What’s involved?
✔️Perform planned, unplanned and breakdown maintenance across a number of sites
✔️Develop close working relationships with operations personnel to ensure that all plant downtime issues are escalated correctly and rectified immediately
✔️Provide continual feedback to site managers on job progress
✔️Identify and repair any unsafe equipment where possible
✔️Perform maintenance work as per weekly schedule
✔️Supervise and coordinate contractors as required
✔️Create accurate notifications from mechanical inspections

Manildra Group is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Storeperson for our Maintenance Department at Manildra Flour Mill, Manildra.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant’s daily tasks will include but will not be limited to:
✔️Obtaining quotes from vendors, complete and send purchase orders for spare parts, tools, materials and equipment for the maintenance department.
✔️Receipt in all maintenance store items and accurately record inventory received into ERP system.

Manildra Group is seeking a self-motivated, passionate and energetic Baker or Pastry Cook looking to take the “next step” in their career.
This appointment will work as part of an existing team and interact on a regular basis with R&D, sales, production, QA and customers. We are seeking a motivated hands-on professional with a proven track record in practical applications in both Cake and Bread.
The Role - Test baker (Monday to Friday Day Shift)
✔️Test baking and analysis of Manildra products
✔️Working with R&D to trial new and improved products, ingredients
✔️Reporting and Record keeping management
✔️Undertaking procedures and requirements in the Quality Control Laboratory
✔️Cleaning and maintenance of bakery and equipment
The role will be based at Manildra Flour Mill and have a strong focus on the test baking of Manildra Group products.
Essential Criteria
✔️A qualification either of the following Baker or Pastry Cook (Trade Qualified) 3rd or 4th year apprentices welcome to apply
