Tamworth Swans Netball competes in the Tamworth Netball Association, and are a new part of the Tamworth Swans Australian Football Club.
As we head into the finals of winter grassroots sport, we think now is a timely reminder to keep it positive on the sidelines.

Junior netball was in full swing this weekend for the Red and White. Apart from the Swans Pearls, who received a forfeit, all Junior teams performed in spectacular fashion, cementing all teams home run to land in the top 4 ready for finals in 3 weeks.
Our 13/14A teams, Swans Lightning, had a favourable win against South Bowlo, winning 25-19. In the 13/14B competition, Swans Opals came out of top against Westview Pirates 31-20 and Swans Diamonds also secured a win 34-31 against Westview. Last but not least, Swans Thunder in the 13/14C competition continued their winning streak, beating Carinya 22-7. These scores secured the following places on the ladder, with a strong home run expected:
Swans Lightning - 3rd
Swans Diamonds - 5th
Swans Opals - 3rd
Swans Thunder - 1st
The 11/12A competition is a competitive one, with our Swans Rubies sitting 3rd on the ladder. With a close fought match against South Bowlo, Rubies were unlucky in their score line, with Bowlo taking the win, 26-23. Swans Sapphires, in the 11/12C group gained the win again South Bowlo 8-0, cementing their 4th place on the ladder.
We can't wait to see how the rest of the season pans out for these teams however the Red and White are proud of their performance regardless of their finals placement.
In our under 10s competition, Swans Gems had a fantastic game against St Eds, with the game ending in a draw 10 all. Gems are sitting 2nd on the ladder and their performance on the weekend shows why.
Our littlest team, Swans Pearls, received a forfeit and will take the court again next week.
Thank you to our fabulous Junior Sponsor Elders Tamworth for your continued support. Stay tuned for team photos with our awesome bibs supplied by Elders.
Stay tuned for a Junior Presentation date to celebrate everyone's 2024 season :)

How good is it to have our TPS juniors in their red and white Swans dresses?
We're pleased to provide the option of pool dresses, to minimise costs for families with growing girls and build a pathway within the Club from net set go to our senior teams.
This was made possible in association with the NSW Government, and the wonderful support of Kevin Anderson MP for our club.
