A true country wedding at The Dag Sheep Station at Nundle when Jess and Lincoln tied the knot in a fun filled and emotional ceremony.

No rehearsal needed as we winged our way through for lots of laughs and a truly relaxed vibe for this laid back couple.

A weekday wedding in the grounds of Papa Luigi’s saw Skye and Col say their I do’s in front of a small gathering of their closest family and friends.
A lovely intimate ceremony and with their children by their side it made for such a special day.

Well one thing I never tire of in this job and that’s the uniqueness of my ceremonies- but this is the first time I’ve married an elf! 😁 yes that right. My fun loving couple Fiona and Mal were married on their property at Uralla last month, and as Fiona is the owner of Granny Fi’s toy shop in Armidale which she and her daughter Beattie make and sell all the unique elves, goblins and Harry Potter goods, and so much more, it only seemed befitting that she would turn up in elf ears!
So here’s to my wonderful friends and couple as they start this next fun journey in their lives.

I’ve been very busy over the past month with ceremonies and to kick off the year I was so honoured to be a part of my gorgeous Ness and Jermaine’s day. Ness is the most special, kind hearted teacher to my little grandchildren at Calala daycare, and I was thrilled when she asked me to be her celebrant. And her husband Jermaine is just the gentlest of souls. They suit each other perfectly and it was the most beautiful day all round as they married on Ness’s uncles property at Moonbi.

So huge congratulations Mr & Mrs Toomey. Here’s to many special years ahead 🥰💕

Back in the gorgeous grounds of Goonoo Goonoo Station when Ben and Amy said their I Do’s on this very special day.
Lots of laughter filled the day as winging it without a rehearsal beforehand proved no problem, as I simply guided them through the nerves and added lots of fun quips to keep them calm. In the end all went off perfectly, so huge congratulations Mr and Mrs Haire 😁 thanks for including me in your special day. 💕

Sharing a very special day with these two beautiful people when Jerrimy and Maddie married on his mother’s property at Loomberah. The day was perfect after a rainy night, and the emotions and love ran high as they shared their heartfelt vows to each other. I was so honoured to be a part of their special day having first met Jerrimy and Maddie at his coffee shop MEGABITES many years before.

A very special day on property at Niangala this weekend as Nicola and Charlie shared their “I do’s” in front of all their family and friends. The weather was perfect, only adding to the stunning pics of my couple, topping off the fun and love that filled the air. And having known Nicola since she was a child, it was an honour to be asked to perform their ceremony and catch up with her family again.

A very special day at Oakburn Raceway Tamworth sharing with my gorgeous couple Petria and Jack and their fun laid backed party.
A few emotional tears were shed by this speedway loving couple and lots of laughter filled the air as the confetti popped and the bride and groom danced their way back down the aisle.
Not to mention this laid back bride wore a comfortable white- that is white Crocs for her shoes 😁

I love when I get yo Bert up with my couples again and earlier this month I spent a special morning back with my lovely couple Gemma and Josh for the Naming Ceremony of their second baby Marlie. Marlie was born in fathers day last year so it was a doubly special occasion celebrating her birthday and Josh’s fathers day for the weekend.

I can hardly believe it was 7 years ago last week when I first became a celebrant😁 And who could have guessed over 180 unique Bespoke Wedding Ceremonies, numerous baby namings, vow renewals, not to mention celebrating same s*x ceremonies when those couples weren’t allowed to be married back then (thank goodness times have changed)
It’s all been one glorious ride and learning curve from that first nervous day to now, being a professional full time Celebrant and sharing these special moments with my beautiful couples.
I remember when I started someone said to me oh that’s a lovely hobby to do! Well it’s been far from a hobby for me- it’s been a professional business and I treat each client with that professionalism and care and support that they expect from me as their Celebrant.
It’s been a fantastic ride and I’ve met so many beautiful couples and loved the fact that I’ve even had the pleasure to do their children’s naming ceremonies in the years after, so it’s a real connection I keep with my couples as friends that makes me so happy I chose this job.

So I look forward to sharing many more special days and meeting more gorgeous couples, just like Nikki and Josh here in this pic.

A very very special day for me when I had the absolute honour to marry this gorgeous couple, and close family friends, Nikki and Josh on the hilltop overlooking their property in Garoo outside of Tamworth.
A gentle pat on the arm helped support Josh as the tears appeared as his beautiful bride and their little girls walked down the aisle to all become one united family. In fact we celebrated this event after the official vows with a special Sand Ceremony for their 3 girls Audrey, Adelyn and Olivia to share with mummy and daddy.
The day was perfect and the view spectacular from the hill top view overlooking the hills and paddocks below. Just a unique day for a beautiful couple. Huge congratulations Mr and Mrs Mapstone. Here’s to many more happy years ahead. 🥰💕

After so many postponements due to Covid, we finally got these two married last month! Travelling to Narrabri on a gorgeous Autumn day, Gayle and Stuart finally said their I do’s in the grounds of their gorgeous home, and with an intimate gathering of their closet family and friends, topped off by a special tree planting ceremony, this all culminated in a beautiful day all round.
At last Gayle is Mrs Middleton, and Stuart can’t wipe that smile off his face.

Having travelled from Sydney to marry in this elegant part of our country side, they couldn’t have chosen a more fitting setting as they shared intimate and funny vows, amid lots of love and laughter.

Love was certainly in the air when Gabby and Jake married at Tangaratta in April. And Jake had his boys on hand for support as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle. Such a fun relaxed ceremony on Saturday when Kim and Adam finally said their I dos at the Botanical gardens Tamworth.

The most laidback ceremony I’ve ever done and Adam left us in stitches even before the ceremony started so I can only imagine how much fun the reception must have been. 😁

Another perfect day last week when it was off to Tamworth Lookout for another fun wedding as I married Tristan to his gorgeous bride Eleonora.

Having travelled from Italy to Australia to meet her prince charming(yes these were in the vows!😁) these guys have since built a life together along with adding to their family with their gorgeous little son Noah.

Arriving with lots of horn blowing in her little red MG, Ele’s day was made all that more special with her mother and sister travelling from Italy to Tamworth to share this special day. 🥰

And again the rain eased up just in time as the sun shone through the overhanging trees to shed a spectacular sight, accompanied by a beautiful violin accompaniment by their friend Katherine as Ele walked the red carpet to meet her love. A beautful fairytale romantic day for a gorgeous couple.

Lyn is a beautiful person and such a lovely lady. She was beyond amazing and we feel so incredibly lucky to have had her be a part of our special day. After an absolutely huge year- 35 weddings in all, we ended the year at Peterson’s Winery in Armidale with the most moving ceremony as Damien and Kellie celebrated their love with a special family candle ceremony.

Firstly a candle ceremony for Kellies late Father was lit, followed by each side of the families lighting unity candles to combine the two, then followed by the couples own lighting.

As the mothers of both the groom and bride did surprise readings, the tissues were appearing everywhere as there was not a dry eye in the house!
A very emotional day for the most gorgeous couple. I was so honoured to be a part of their special day.
