With Anzac Day coming around soon, please take a moment to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
Redgum cafe will be closed Thursday 25 April and reopen Friday 26 April.

We're back from Easter break and we're wanting to let you know of the newest special for the month of April. Come on in and try the April special of fish, chips and a side salad!

Wishing everyone a safe and lovely Easter - we'll be taking a short Easter break with last cups being brewed Thursday 28th, but we'll reopen again Tuesday 2 April.

Something different is on the menu for March....
Delicious Hot Cross Buns are now being toasted daily at the cafe... the perfect addition to your morning tea moment!

We'll be missing you this Friday as we'll be closed for the Public Holiday, but we look forward to seeing you when we reopen with usual hours Saturday 27 January.

Just a heads up the Redgum cafe will be closing over the Christmas/New Year period. We will be closing at 2pm Saturday 23 December and reopening 9am Tuesday 16 January.

Heads up!
We'll be closed for the AFL Grand final day (29/9) and also the next day (Saturday 30/9).

But we'll be back as usual on the Tuesday - 3rd October.

Just wanting to share... the internal play space in the redgum cafe has something new. Come along have some lunch, or a cuppa and your little one can have a play! Yay!

The Redgum Café is taking a couple of days off for Easter -- don't worry, we'll be resurrected next week!

Easter is the central holy celebration of the Christian tradition. During this time Christians commemorate the death of Jesus of Nazareth, the central figure of the tradition.

Jesus died in solidarity with oppressed and suffering people. He was put to death by violent forces of oppression (in his day the Roman Empire), because of his work of mercy for the poor and proclaiming the need for a just world.

As we look around and see the suffering of this world, both near and far, the Christian tradition reminds us of the need for the same work of mercy and proclamation of justice that Jesus exemplified.

We are all invited into the project of liberation and love which Jesus embodied. In whatever way we can, we might think how we can bring new and renewed life into the world.

This is what the Easter story is about: life from death, solidarity with those who suffer, the project of mercy and justice, peace and joy.
