DISC Velodrome in Thornbury features a 250 metre timber indoor track and 2,000 SQ/M of infield floor space.

Clubs and User Groups book the track weekly for training and competition including a Learn to Ride session most Sundays.

Are you looking for a program that might help develop race skills for VICS?

The Blackburn Cycling Club hosts a successful Let's Race Program. This is aimed specifically for junior riders and is a fun and interactive learning program for kids who are already riding their bikes and want to gain more skills, knowledge and confidence to take the next step into racing safely in local junior races.

What's included:
Six sessions where you will learn the skills needed to start racing in upcoming junior events and school racing. Use of club track bike and receive fresh bottle of water.

Location: East Burwood Reserve Velodrome, 300 Burwood Hwy, Burwood East.

Grading has been based on last weeks time trial, previous results and knowledge passed on from teachers and parents.

We are off to Ballarat!

The Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club is excited to be hosting the second last round of VICS Winter Road Series at their regular criterium circuit in Victoria Park.

The closed circuit is 1.5km in length and promises to be fast! Registration/number collection will take place from 9.30am with the first event due to start at 10.30am.

The VICS winter school series got started with the first round in Dromana. Over 180 primary and secondary school students enjoyed racing along the circuit at Dromana Secondary College. Thank you Red Hill Rider for hosting a fun event, and Giant Frankston for the bike checks.
