A Bit of Background

I often think of this as my own personal sci-fi story with a bunch of math’s and science thrown in.

So much so, that it became the basis of ‘Sara’s Story – The Awakening’ a novel that weaves all of this into an action/adventure story.

With that in mind all that is presented here is not for finite scrutiny or a lot of carry on. It is merely a fun way to mix some science and spirituality together to see what happens.

Most of the concepts can be expanded and explained in detail through Quantum Physics, Mathematics, Wave Propagation and Acoustic theory as we go along.

“The Five Dimensions we dwell in”, Walks the reader through the basics of existence in the physical reality we exist in.

Yes, there are more than 5 dimensions, but let’s begin with just 5 for the moment, as it is the doorway to understanding everything we are physically and spiritually.

This understanding of the 5 dimensions will guide you into the basics of creation. Because of the amount of detail as to how and why this world began, we will use simple concepts that can be expanded and researched as you feel the need. Dr Google to the rescue…

All the information is just an internet search away that can provide as little or as much detail you require.

We will look at a number of examples of how the mind and body works in a spiritual and mathematical way without being too boring.

Stuff like Boolean algebra, Fibonacci Sequencing, Wave/Particle duality, Sinewaves and lots of Classical, Newtonian and Quantum Physics will give concepts to link the physical to the spiritual worlds.

Later our journey will continue with creation’s own evolution using the “Garden of Eden” concept and later how the Atlantan and Lemurian thought pattern brought the physical world into existence.

Mixed with this, we will look at both big bangs and how the physical world began from the second big bang. We will then see how all the energies formed to create the workings that surround us.

Take what you want and leave the rest as it is as much thought provoking as it is fun.

Pretty much all of this won’t be new to you as deep down we all know what is written here anyway.

So let’s begin with the first 5 Dimensions.

What are the first 3 Dimensions?

Dimensions 1, 2 & 3

Geometry gives a look at the first 3 dimensions and is easily understood with the geometric concepts we studied in school.

• 1D simple line - Geometric
• 2D – Two or more 1D lines put together to form shapes – Geometrical and Mathematical.
An example would be four equal size lines forming a square
• 3D gives depth to our 2D square simply by joining more equal size lines to form a cube.

Fairly straightforward at the moment, but we know our cube can move. It’s here where we move away from Geometry and Mathematics to mix physics with our initial look at the influence of the spiritual world.

4th Dimension – The Interface that provides motion to thought

I call this the interface between the 3D physical world and the spiritual world and the place where a range of thought based worlds exist, mix and interact.

Think of fairies, myths and legends, the astral plane…a kind of a hangout between spiritual worlds and our imagination.

It’s also a place where science and theology/spirituality come together to animate the objects in the physical 3D realm.

To expand this thought, physics explains how an object can move physically and that theology and spirituality gives thoughts to why an object would move.

There is a lot more to the 4th dimension and we could talk about the astral plane and its many layers and what dwells in each layer.

But keeping this fairly simple, we’ll look at the 4th dimension as just the interface for the moment.

So now to the fifth dimension.

5th Dimension

I think of the 5th dimension as the place of our spiritual home or the place our pure/higher self hangs out while waiting to incarnate.

It can also be the path for other dimensions and a place for other pure waveform beings to exist.

Simply put, the spiritual plane is where pure beings and thought-forms exist. Think of gods, Galactic’s and angels plus a gateway to other dimensions.

It is also where Quantum Mechanics/Physics attempts to bring a physical understanding as to how waveforms can create matter and matter can create waveforms.

What’s presented here is just the basis of how the dimensions link the physical and spiritual worlds together.

There is much more to the story and we will get into the nitty gritty of that in later on. But for now we will keep it simple.

Next time in Part 2, we will look at John our physical example and begin the notion of ‘Happy and Content’ which will expand our introduction into more depth and explanation.

I hope you enjoy the series and it’s a bit of fun so don’t get too caught up in the detail.

Reiki and Other Relaxing Alternative Therapies
Why Would You Bother

A pretty good question if you haven’t had much to do with Reiki or any other Relaxing Therapies.

Twenty years ago I would have said the same, “what a load of crap”…but now I teach Reiki???

We all have our own of ways of relaxing.
• Gardening
• Massage
• Gym
• Coffee with friends
• Drinking heavily

And the list goes on…

Those listed are good but can have side effects…sore muscles, hangovers etc. so how does Reiki differ.

Think of the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had…that “Dead to the world” kind of sleep.

And how do feel after a sleep like that.

Don’t know about you but I wake up relaxed, in a great frame of mind and missing some of those aches and pains from the day before.

Reiki gives you that same post “dead to the world” relaxed state of mind and muscle relax…in about an hour.

Sounds good…has to be a benefit if you can get this in an hour or so.

That covered, let’s move on…

Aren’t these “Alternative Therapies” including Reiki just a bunch of “Hooey” full of crazy women in caftans with frizzy hair…the guys even nuttier and isn’t Reiki just another weirdo religion.

You’ll find most of us are kind of normal and keep the “Hooey” to those that are into the “Hooey”.

The days of wild hair caftans and robes are gone…practitioners are pretty normal these days; there is always - sadly the exception though.

So we’ve covered benefit – “deep and total relaxation” and some fears – “nutty religion and weirdo’s”.

Let’s hit the credibility angle.

I’m a member of the Reiki Association of WA and each month I volunteer at the Solaris Cancer Council Centre in Cottesloe providing free Reiki sessions to people and their families affected by cancer.

I hope to offer this service here in Toodyay and surrounds…PM me for more info if you’re interested, Clients and Practitioners.

Solaris is not the only mainstream organization that uses Reiki as part of their complementary therapy programs.

• Muscular Dystrophy
• DAYS
• Cancer Council
• Hospitals

These organisations and some hospitals throughout the Metropolitan and Regional centers offer Reiki in their Complimentary therapy programs.

So we’ve looked at the benefits – really deep relaxation in one session

Looked at some of the stereo types – we’re all pretty normal and avoid wearing caftans or acting weirdly, we can however have bad frizzy hair days and Reiki is not a religion.

And we threw in some credibility – large organisations use Reiki

I’ll also mention Reiki does not offer medical advice, diagnose illness or claim cures.

So with this in mind what does mainstream medicine think of all this Alternative Therapy rubbish?

Reiki is being used a lot more in hospitals, the government has written a code of conduct that practitioners adhere to and more and more medical practitioners seeing the benefits and are referring patients to these services.

I’ve had my skeptics in the medical world scoff at Reiki as nothing more than a placebo…my answer

“Yep it probably is and if a patient can feel no pain and can sit quietly for any length of time in conjunction with their medications, placebo or not…would you deny that person this relief”.

And that’s what most of the medical world now see, something that helps their patients.

Let’s now look at the “So what, I haven’t the time or money…and it still sounds like crap to me”.

Yep totally agree with that as many years ago I said the same thing.

I can’t and won’t even try to convince you it’s a waste of time, money and is not a bunch of crap.

You can say you know a bit about Reiki and it’s completely up to you if you give Reiki a try or not.

You know the benefits, has credibility and is becoming more mainstream in the medical world.

I’ve also mentioned there are other Alternative Therapies here in Toodyay

• Kinesiology
• Bowen
• Access Bars
• Piec
• Sound Therapy

All these and maybe some I might have missed are here in Toodyay, some even offer animal therapy.

Definitely worth taking the time to look at what these practitioners have to offer as well.

Any of these modalities may even be a great gift idea for someone.

Usui Reiki course dates – levels 1, 2 &3 are planned over the next few months with dates TBA.

The new Reiki program will also be running in the next few. This is very different and not just for people with a spiritual bent. It is based on personal and business growth. Keep an eye out for updates and info sessions.
