It is with an extremely heavy heart that i share some sad news.

The Handmade Collective will officially be closing it's doors at 5pm on Tuesday the 26th of December.

There has been an abundance of high's, some extreme lows, and sooooo many pure happy times.

Running a business that so many people rely on and have expectations for is a very hard thing to do. Especially when it comes to the handmade industry. Running up against the big fellas is a really hard thing to do. However, with so many small businesses running against each other, it also has downfalls.

We have experienced so much love and support, but unfortunately, alongside that comes some nasty and unacceptable behaviour to which I will not tolerate.

The Handmade Collective has shifted in so many ways alongside our own personal struggles. We still managed to keep kicking along because of the amazing and dedicated people we had supporting us. That includes staff, makers, wholesalers and of course centre management and our customers.

I will always be forever grateful to every single person who has pushed for our success and to support our amazing community that is ridiculously talented.

Unfortunately, this decision has had to be made to protect our makers alongside myself and my family, but this is not at all a final goodbye from me and supporting the handmade community.
