BE AWARE OF BAD LINKS IN MICROSOFT EDGE!!!! Just opened EDGE today and clicked on a link about "Remembering our favourite actor Mr Bean". Upon clicking this link your computer gets a bad page and "locks up" your PC telling you that you are infected and to ring Microsoft on "this number"! DO NOT RING THAT NUMBER! It is reasonably easy to resolve but for those who are not overly computer literate you may be stuck. If that's the case, close or turn off the PC and get it into your local Computer repair store for fixing! NOT GOOD THAT A BROWSER PROMOTED BY MICROSOFT WILL LET THIS HAPPEN! Just be aware!

Worrying older phone hacking warning A stark warning has been issued for users of older Android devices with many models set to become highly vulnerable to hacking in a matter of days.

BITLOCKER!!!! Beware! It is installed on new PC's but unless you are very security paranoid we advise do not use it! What we do advise is that EVERYONE BACKUP RELIGIOUSLY to an external drive (actually 2 are better and alternate them each backup) We have seen quite a few customers who have BITLOCKER enabled, don't know the key and no longer have access to their data.
SO PLEASE BACKUP AS PART OF YOUR COMPUTING USE, if not sure how to do that, come in and see us and we can set you up with a BACKUP script and even some external drives if need be.
