Not long now till the end of winter colds and flu, and to the start of our beautiful Toowoomba Spring and Carnival of Flowers!

On our last post, we had the Carnival of Flowers Parade shown as the 14th of September. Our apologies, the Carnival Parade is on Saturday 21st September. We will be closed this day as the carnival commences right at our front door and in Phillip Street. Access to our office is not possible.

We are very pleased to advise that Dr Jason Henderson (Dr Chantal's brother) is extending his availability with us. Jason has been working at Elevate Chiropractic each month and will now be adding some Monday afternoons to 530pm and Tuesday mornings! He will continue with his monthly Friday and Saturdays and will also assist in caring for Dr Chan's clients when she is on leave.

For our past clients you may remember Dr Jason from over 10 years ago when he worked with us at Kennedy Chiropractic! Dr Jason utilises SOT, activator and will also offer manual adjustments to clients who prefer this technique.

Elevate Chiropractic is back in full swing and have hit the ground running. Dr Chantal is here to help whilst Dr Sandie is on leave. Chan has made herself available this Tuesday 9th January from 2pm as she is fully booked for the rest of the week. If you are requiring an adjustment, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Dr Sandie is on leave returning 15th January. At this stage, Sandie's first available appointment is Monday 22nd January. Our lovely Chiropractic Assistants have a wait list for Sandie's first week should there be any changes or cancellations.

We would like to say thank you and farewell to Sophie, our junior Chiropractic Assistant who has shared her smile and warmth at Elevate Chiropractic. She is moving to a new and exciting role in 2024 with her dance company. We wish her all the best for her final year 12 at school and her dance teaching role.

Just got our Christmas tree

Thank you to our wonderful clients (and staff) who have contributed to our Share the Dignity ‘It’s in the Bag’ donation drive.

We are seeking some more specific items now to combine with items that have already been donated to fill up a few more bags. We only have 2 weeks remaining for donations.

These items are:
- A nappy bag or overnight bag (in new or near new condition)
- 2 or 3 handbags – preferably with a zip (in new or near new condition)
- Teen sized pads and tampons
- Face cleansing wipes
- Dummies
- Maternity and breast pads
- Baby shampoo
- Baby wash
- Hairbrushes
- Anything on the shopping list you are happy to donate 😊

We are accepting donations until Saturday 25th November.

With only 10 weeks to Christmas, we thought you might like to receive our chiropractor’s availability calendar for October to December 2023.

For your information:
- Saturday appointments are nearly full to Christmas so for those wishing their regular Saturday, we do suggest booking in now.
- Allied Health Plans: for clients on a “Medicare” plan, they do end on the 31st December. You can use them next year but remember, you are only entitled to 5 per calendar year. If you have any questions regarding these, please don’t hesitate to call the ladies in our centre.

This November, Elevate Chiropractic & Wellness Centre are collecting donations for "it's in the bag".

How can YOU help? Make Christmas special for someone living in crisis by donating an Adult, Teen or Mum & Bub bag. Fill a new bag or a pre-loved one (in excellent condition) with life's essentials, plus something extra special.

Just drop your donations to our center anytime from 1st November to 26th November. (Bunnings are also a collection point from 10-26 November). Join us in helping our community this Christmas.

Spring is in the air and so is Carnival of Flowers! We wish to advise due to the Carnival Parade commencing near our building, our centre will be closed on Saturday 16th September. Road closures in Phillip Street commence at 5am until 11:30am.
