A trip down memory lane from 20 years ago. Our shop has changed a lot in that time.

Just a little bit of fun. The first person who correctly guesses the Clive Churchill medal winner (man of the match) in this years NRL grand final will win a very cool prize. One guess per person and must guess before kick off.

The staff of Liebke Tyres wish to advise that due the the queens funeral next Thursday the 22nd, we will all be far too traumatised and emotionally hurt to work on the Friday the 23rd. We need time to mourn with a 4 day weekend and will be back at work on Monday the 26th. Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.

These are just a couple of the many clubs/groups/organisations taking advantage of our new community program. Each one of these organisations is given 3000 of these cards with their respective logos on. Anytime one of their community brings a card in, gets 4 tyres or a vehicle service, $50 goes to their group. Imagine if your club was involved, and even if only 10% of the 3000 cards gets used, we will happily hand over $15,000 to you. It’s limitless and we are happy to give you as much as you can generate. We want to introduce you to our new community program that we are so proud of and hope will make a difference to some. It’s for sporting clubs, charities or whoever wants to be involved. If someone involved in your organisation gets either 4 tyres or a vehicle service, I will give $50 to that organisation EVERY SINGLE TIME. So for example, if the club or group that you’re a part of was to do it, and the club generated 1 jobs per day over 252 working days in the year, then I would happily fork over $12,600 to you guys without even blinking. There is no limit if we scratch each other’s backs. Contact us to get involved.

Another text book example of why the world has gone completely mad and everyone is subjected to it. Tyre disposal of a 4WD/SUV tyre 3 months ago was $4.40, now it’s $9. This cannot be absorbed by any business and it is insane.

This is only the start of winter, it’s bloody awful and there is 10 weeks to go. We are doing a drive next week and we urgently need BLANKETS, PANTS, JACKETS, SOCKS AND SHOES. Anything you can spare could save a life this winter. Gather it up and drop it to me next week. Get behind your community 😘

It’s getting cold!!!!! We are giving away a heap of firewood again. If you know someone who is struggling financially and buying wood pushes their budget, let us know and we may be able to help them out. Obviously it’s limited, but we will see what we can do 😘

• Disposing lawfully of a tyre up until a month ago was $4.40, now its $7.70

• The price of natural rubber and raw steel is now unbelievable.

Inflation is out of control around the world and unfortunately our industry is no exception. Tyres have gone up approximately 20-25% in the last 6-8 months. It sucks and it’s out of our control. We are sorry 😞 😭
